Museum & Attraction Passes

All museums and attractions have unique procedures. Please visit museum/attraction websites prior to borrowing passes as the most up to date information can be found ​on each organization's website. 
​Museum and Attraction Pass Details
​
  • You may only reserve one pass per day.
  • Your PIN is the last 4 numbers of your phone number.
  • Passes may be reserved online 30 days in advance, but they may only be picked up the last day the library is open prior to your visit.
  • When you come to pick up passes, you must bring the library card you used to book the pass, as well as the confirmation page you received upon booking.
  • Coupon passes do not need to be returned; all other passes circulate for 1 day.
  • Please note: The library cannot be held responsible for others not returning the pass in time for your pickup.
  • Replacement charges for lost museum passes (not coupons) range from $20.00-$75.00.

Battleship Cove

Admits up to 2 adults and 3 children for $3 each. Children 3 years and under admitted free. Tickets may be purchased online in advance or at the museum.

Boston By Foot

The code on the pass can be used to purchase up to 6 tickets online by using the members option. Pre-registration for tours is required. You will need to complete your contact information as tickets will be emailed to you. You may print the tickets or make the electronic copies available to your guide.  

Passes are not valid for booking on the private tour calendar, water-based tours, or the Beacon Hill with a Boo! and Footloose on the Freadom Trail tours.​

Boston Children's Museum
Admits up to 4 people at 50% admission. Children under 12 months admitted free. Coupon. Advance online ticket purchase required.

Boston Harbor Islands Ferry
Admits up to 4 people at 50% admission. Ferries are boarded at Long Wharf North in Downtown Boston. Discount code can only be redeemed online. Advance online ticket purchase required. ​Seasonal.

Easton Children's Museum
Admits up to 2 people at 50% admission. Children under 12 months admitted free. Coupon.

Maplewood Indoor/Outdoor Playground

Admits up to 2 children ages 2-6 years old for $10 each ($18 total savings) with an Adult. Children under 1 year admitted free.

Library pass users can not register or pay for play times online (they will not receive the discounted price if they do).

Valid for either a Morning (9:30 am - 12:00 pm) or Afternoon session (1:30 pm - 5:00 pm), Monday through Friday.

Online, one-time waiver must be completed prior to your visit here.

All children and adults are required to wear grip socks. Bring your own or purchase for $3. 
Massachusetts State Parks 
Free day parking for over 50 facilities.

Museum of Science Boston
Admits up to 4 people at 50% admission. Children under 3 admitted free. Not valid for Omni or Planetarium. Coupon. 

​Please bring your library pass when you visit. Stop at the Box Office when you arrive at the Museum to exchange your library pass and purchase your Exhibit Halls passes at the discounted rate. 

If you have any questions or would like to reserve your Exhibit Halls passes in advance to avoid waiting in line the day of your visit, please call 617-723-2500 (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily).Your pass can only be used on the date printed on the pass.

New England Aquarium
Admits up to 4 people at 50% admission. Children under 3 admitted free. Not valid for school or group visits, Aquarium programs, Simons Theatre tickets, Whale Watch tickets, or combination tickets. Coupon.

Patriots Hall of Fame at Patriot Place​
Admits up to 2 people for free, plus 15% off at the Patriots Pro Shop and the CBS Sporting Club, and 20% off special event tickets.

​Please note that hours are subject to change due to games and other special events. Patrons should check the Patriots Hall of Fame site or call ​508-698-4800 for updates.

Plimoth Patuxet Museums

Admits up to 6 people at reduced admission. ​Children under 5 years old are admitted free. Pass includes admission to Plimoth Patuxet Museums, Mayflower II & Plimoth Grist Mill. Open March-November.

Roger Williams
​Park Zoo
The discount saves $3 off each paid ticket for up to 4 tickets. Because the zoo is using timed entry advanced ticketing to limit capacity on grounds, discount codes can only be redeemed online. Advance online ticket purchase required.

Salem Witch Museum
Admits up to 6 people at a discounted admission. Children under 3 admitted free. Pass can be used to purchase discount tickets online, but must be presented upon visiting the museum.

​Pass is not available during the month of October.
USS Constitution Museum
Admits up to 9 people for free. Admission is first come, first served. The USS Constitution is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays (the Museum is open 7 days a week).

​Please be aware that visitors must pass through a security inspection and show federal or state photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, before embarking on USS Constitution. Visitors under the age of 18 do not require a photo identification card.
