Upcoming Meeting
Monday, March 28 from 5:30-7:00pm We'll be working on the spring bulletin board and more. Look for us in the Youth Room or the Community Room! Teens and tweens! Would you like to volunteer your time and earn community service hours? Join the Junior Friends of the Library!
Junior Friends is a group designed to let youth ages 10-18 take an active role in library programming, promotion, fundraising, and decision-making. We meet monthly from September through June (generally third Mondays from 5:30-7:00), with additional sessions when we're working on projects (irregular times, TBD). Members will have opportunities to help improve the library by decorating the Children’s Room, contributing to book, music, movie, and video game selection, maintaining the Discovery Den, keeping the children’s and young adult book collections tidy, planning fundraising events, and more. If you sign up to join Junior Friends, we will track your volunteer hours so you can submit them for school, scouting, etc. Come meet new people, enjoy the library, and make a difference in your community! |
