The Norton Public Library offers a wide variety of programming for children and young adults throughout the year. Youth Services incorporates babies through young adults. Most programs require registration; please call the library to sign up for one of the many ongoing programs we have.

Mother Goose Mondays
10:30am

Drop in Playgroup
for Ages 0-2 and families.
Stories, songs, fingerplays and bounces for the little ones followed by time to visit with other families.

Wednesdays @ 10:30

Drop-in Program
for Ages 2 & 3 and families.
Stories, songs & fingerplays followed
by time to visit with other families.

Due to the popularity of these classes and to make this an enjoyable experience for all, we may sometimes have to limit the class. If you arrive when we have reached story time capacity, please feel free to play in the Discovery Den or read in the children's room until we open the doors for playtime.

Preschool Storytime
For ages 4-6

**Registration begins 2 weeks before each class**

 

 

The Norton Public Library in conjunction with Wheaton College, offers a fun interactive reading program, America Reads, for students in Grades 1 thru 3 during the school year.

 

 

 

 

Jr. Friends -- a unique, fun volunteer opportunity for Grades 4 and 5. Activities include fundraising, program planning and performing, Assist with Summer Reading Program, displays, shelving. Meets every other week, occasional programs/plays/field trips. Annual sleepover.

Every other Tuesday 3:30 - 5:00

and the YA club.

 

YA Club -- Grade 6 and up. This group meets as needed, and is responsible for YA programming.

Every other Tuesday at 3:30pm
